NATE UNITE 2022
NATE UNITE is widely regarded as the premier conference and trade show in the diverse wireless, broadcast, and communications infrastructure industries. The NATE UNITE lineup consisted of an impressive array of educational sessions, safety seminars, networking receptions, luncheons, optional training courses, and speakers. Additionally, NATE UNITE hosts an interactive and vibrant exhibit hall floor with booths from companies representing every layer of our industry.
Las Vegas | February 21-24
The NATE UNITE 2022 Conference was extremely well attended, in part due to the previous year’s cancellation from Covid concerns. Overall, there was a recording-breaking number of attendees (2,619), representing over 455 different companies. InfraServices’s aim for the event was to attract subcontractors and potential employees. Our booth media was designed to show areas of work we had available, as well as an announcement about our recent IPO to generate discussion and interest. Our booth was very popular and often had a line of interested attendees waiting to discuss with one of our team members. Additionally, there were lots of opportunities for our team members to hold one-on-ones with customers and potential vendor and contractor partners. Overall, the event was a great success, and we look forward to the many opportunities that will come from the connections made at NATE UNITE.
A big thank you to our team members who represented InfraServices at the event: Kevin Doran, Paul Foster, Eric Bicknese, Steve Roessler, Mike Workman, Rob Fabrizio, Kevin Hansberry, Glenn Shaffren, Jeremy Mills, Anthony Sanchez, Chris Lohmann, David Claycomb, Greg Dorman, Andrew Reis, Keith Miller, Ed Saldana, Clinton Bagley, Kelly O’Grady, JR Collins, Matt Hall, Matt Gatzke, Gianna Lucchesi, Kelsey Morris

On November 20, 2020, NATE signed a national strategic partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Through a common vision, these Partners are committed to providing a safe and healthful work environment for employees and contractors involved in the wireless and broadcast communications infrastructure construction, repair, and maintenance industries, including all associated entities involved in the transmission of radio frequency (RF) energy.
InfraServices’s Senior VP of Risk and Safety, Rob Fabrizio, recently accepted a four-year appointment as a Steering Team Member on the NATE/OSHA/FCC Strategic Partnership Committee. The partnership seeks to eliminate injuries and fatalities among workers performing these vital communications infrastructure deployment services. The partnership will address some of the industry’s frequently encountered hazards, including but not limited to falls from height, electrical, dropped objects, tower collapses, and inclement weather.
Jimmy Miller, chairman of NATE, said, “The timing of this national partnership agreement is critical as the association’s member companies and their technician workforce are on the front lines deploying the next generation [of] technologies and broadband infrastructure that are simultaneously enabling a 5G future and helping close the digital divide.” Read more about the strategic partnership here.
We are incredibly proud of Rob for his service on this critically important committee. A responsibility such as this one speaks to the knowledge and experience that he can offer to the committee. Rob has been in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years, and has led our Risk and Safety Department since InfraServices's founding.
Vertical Freedom | Wireless Movie Debut
On the second night of the conference, NATE debuted Vertical Freedom, a movie created in collaboration with STORYBUILT Media. Vertical Freedom is an epic, feature-length documentary film highlighting the professional and personal lives of six communications U.S. infrastructure workers who possess diverse backgrounds and compelling stories, on and off the job. According to NATE, the film will “help to advance world knowledge about the exacting and professional skillsets that tower technicians are required to have to achieve success in their office in the sky.” NATE also said the movie features “amazing storylines and amazing views.”
